Nestled below the Skietberg mountain, Skietberg Lodge is an excellent spot for a brief retreat. Our one-night stay proved to be practical, especially given its proximity to the N1 freeway, which is convenient for travelers. The lodge stands out with its reliable solar power system, ensuring we weren't inconvenienced during loadshedding-a thoughtful inclusion for those familiar with the challenges of power outages. Unit 3 was spacious and comfortable, featuring a flat-screen TV for relaxation and a well-designed patio for enjoying the surroundings, although we sadly missed out on the braai facilities due to rain. Karin's welcome was warm, and Johan's assistance with our trailer tire was genuinely appreciated. The combination of value and comfort here makes Skietberg Lodge a sensible choice for the discerning traveler, especially considering the added amenities like air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. All in all, a wise pick for those seeking a blend of luxury without overspending.
